At TBS Warsaw, our students wear uniforms during school hours, when travelling and when engaged in school activities. You can find the current guideline here. 

You can purchase uniforms via:

• Online shop (see guide for creating an account)
• Secondhand shop on Main Campus (open: Mondays 8:00-8:30 AM)

Uniforms aren’t mandatory for Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Year 12 and Year 13.

Technology is used at TBS Warsaw as a tool for learning. If you are wondering whether that means equipping your child with a tablet or laptop, here's an answer:

• Early Years (There's no need to buy a device - on this stage, we limit our pupils' exposure to technology)
• Primary School (There's no need to buy a device - our Primary classes are equipped with the necessary devices)
• Secondary (Students should bring their own device)

DEVICE RECOMMENDATIONS:

• Operating system: Windows 11, Android 13, iPadOS 16, MacOS
• Battery Life: 8 hours or more
• Connectivity: Bluetooth, HDMI, USB-C

For students who already have a device, there is no requirement to purchase the recommended device.

LIMITING SCREENTIME

Our school is a part of the Yondr Phone-Free Schools Programme. It means that upon arrival, each student places all their electronic devices in the designated pouch and locks it in front of the teacher. At the end of the day, students unlock their pouches at designated stations. This way, with the help of the staff, students can access their phones, if necessary, without risking distraction during classes.

Art' Impression Catering provides catering services for The British School Warsaw students and staff. They offer lunches for both the Main Campus and the Early Years Center.

For Early Years Center children

• In the cafeteria, you’ll also find a shop selling snacks and sandwiches.

Little Monsters provide a door-to-door school bus that operates on our campus. It’s available for students living in Warsaw and its suburbs.

Little Monsters' drivers are experienced, friendly and professionally trained to work with children. Services provided by them allow parents to track the progress of children’s journey in real-time.

At TBS Warsaw, each student is allocated to one of four houses: Bison, Bear, Lynx or Wolf. You receive the house information during the acceptance process. It is important to know your child's House before buying uniforms in order to purchase the adequate sportswear with your child's house logo.

How do Houses influence my child's life at school?

The Houses are designed to allow new students a quicker adaptation into our community, drive motivation for learning and teach them healthy competition. The Houses system is driven by collecting points. Students earn points during sport events, competitions, class achievements and completing extra homework. At the end of each term, students celebrate the House that collected the most points.
