BACK TO SCHOOL

SCHOOL ID CARDS AND LOCKER KEYS (LEVELS 6–12 ONLY)

• New students: School ID cards and locker keys will be distributed at the Welcome Desk, located in the Panther's Café, during Orientation Day.
  
  
• Returning students: School ID cards and locker keys will be distributed by your Homeroom advisor in the classroom on Monday, 24th August.
  
  Please note that locker keys cannot be kept over the summer. All lockers will be reassigned for the new school year. The CHF 30 key deposit will be credited to the parent account once the locker key has been returned.
  
  
• Returning Level 11 students: Please bring your current school ID card in order to exchange your iPad for a MacBook during Back-to-School Week. The IT Desk location and opening hours can be found in the dedicated section below.

BOOKS AND TEXTBOOKS (LEVELS 6–12 ONLY)

Textbooks and books will be placed in students' lockers according to their academic programme and subject options. They will be available on the first day of school, Monday, 24th August. To allow us to prepare each student's locker with the complete set of books required for their programme, we kindly ask that you do not remove any books from the lockers before this date.

RETURNING STUDENTS

• Level 6 (Grade 6, Bilingual 6 and 6e): Students will receive their iPads following the iPad Information Session at the beginning of September.
  
  
• Levels 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12: Students should bring their current CDL iPad or MacBook with them on the first day of school.
  
  
• Level 11 (Grade 11, IB1 and 1ère): Students may exchange their iPad for a MacBook by presenting their 2025-2026 school ID card at the IT Desk.

NEW STUDENTS STARTING AT CDL

• Level 6 (Grade 6, Bilingual 6 and 6e): Students will receive their iPads following the iPad Information Session at the beginning of September.
  
  
• Levels 7–12: Students must collect their IT equipment before the start of the school year by presenting their school ID card at the IT Desk.

IT DESK LOCATION AND COLLECTION SCHEDULE     

• Wednesday 19st August – Friday 21st August: IT Desk, Room CR-113, Cervin Building, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
  
  
• From Monday 24st August onwards: IT Desk, Basement Floor, Mont-Blanc Building
  Regular opening hours: 8:00 am – 12:45 pm and 1:45 pm – 4:00 pm.

KEY DATES

10th July: Private lesson registrations open via our website.

5th August: New families will receive their SchoolsBuddy login credentials by email, where they can book the extracurricular activities.

11th August, 1:00 pm (Swiss time): Registration for extracurricular activities opens.
We recommend that you register promptly when registrations open to secure your spot in the desired activity.

BUS SERVICE

Please note that there will be no school bus service on the morning of the first day of school. The bus service will begin at 4:00 pm on the first day of classes. For all practical information about the school bus service, please visit our dedicated webpage.

PARKING RECOMMENDATIONS

WEDNESDAY 19TH AUGUST (PRE-SCHOOL, PRIMARY AND BOARDING ORIENTATION DAY)

Where possible, we recommend that Pre-school and Primary families use the parking areas designated for their respective campuses: behind the Picasso building for Pre-school and behind the Saint-Exupéry building for Primary.

P1 will be reserved for boarding families. If the designated parking areas are full, P2 will be available for all families.

For your information, the nearest public parking is "La Bécassière" parking lot (Centre sportif de Versoix). Parking is free for the first 3 hours for cars that register at the pay station. Additional hours may be added. A CDL shuttle bus will run from 7:45 am to 4:00 pm.

THURSDAY 20TH AUGUST (SECONDARY ORIENTATION DAY)

Families attending the Secondary Orientation Day are encouraged to use P1 or P2 for parking.

For your information, the nearest public parking is "La Bécassière" parking lot (Centre sportif de Versoix). Parking is free for the first 3 hours for cars that register at the pay station. Additional hours may be added. A CDL shuttle bus will run from 7:45 am to 4:00 pm.

MONDAY 24TH AUGUST 2026: FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

To ensure a smooth and gentle transition, PS0, PS1 and PS2 students will follow a staggered start and reduced timetable. The schedule is as follows:

• PS0: Arrival: 9:00 am – 9:45 am / End of day: 11:15 am
• PS1: Arrival: 9:00 am – 9:30 am / End of day: 11:15 am
• PS2: Arrival: 8:15 am – 9:00 am / End of day: 11:45 am (after lunch)
• PS3: Arrival: 8:15 am – 8:45 am / End of day: 3:10 pm.
  Optional: Childcare available for PS3 students from 3:10 pm to 6:45 pm, and extracurricular activities available for registered students.

School hours, bus services, childcare and extracurricular activities will operate on their regular timetables.

School starts at 8:15 am and ends at 3:40 pm. Students should go directly to their designated classroom. There will be a welcome table at Mandela.

• 9:00 am - 9:20 am – Level 8

Students will finish their day at 3:40 pm instead of 3:50 pm to allow time to locate their bus (if applicable).
