Last week, the Year 5 students had an introduction into the world of robotics. The students built and coded their own ‘VEX’ robots. The idea behind the introduction was to mirror the Perseverance Robot that landed on Mars to study the red planet. They followed instructions and built the robot before inputting a code that would retrieve a sample from the surface of Mars. It was great fun with lots of learning.
