Outstanding experiences

INSPIRING LEARNING EXPERIENCES
Our excursions and extracurricular activities equip students with the skills to shape the world they’ll inherit.
At La Côte International School Aubonne (LCIS) we’ll nurture your child’s interests, challenging them and helping them develop into confident, responsible members of society. Personalised, out-of-classroom learning experiences based on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths), sports and performing arts give every student a way to discover their talents.

DISCOVERING PASSIONS
We inspire curious and engaged learners through truly transformational experiences, including collaborations with world-leading organisations like The Juilliard School, UNICEF, and MIT.

SKILLS FOR LIFE
At LCIS, we give students the tools they need to look after their own mental health and develop resilience, but also make sure they know they can turn to us if they need support or have concerns. Students leave LCIS ready to succeed and flourish, no matter what challenges life presents them.
Students have access to Nord Anglia’s online Global Campus platform, which contains a wealth of resources on wellbeing to keep their bodies and minds healthy. We also offer a pastoral programme to help students become emotionally mature and considerate citizens, both in school and beyond. The programme empowers them to deal effectively with adversity and opportunity in their education and their personal life.

Amidst apple orchards, with views of Lac Léman, the Jura Mountains, and the Swiss Alps, the LCIS campus offers a unique learning environment that extends far beyond the campus' boundaries. It’s the perfect place for students to learn, grow, and build the capabilities for realising their future dreams and aspirations.
MORE ABOUT OUR CAMPUS

FOSTERING LOCAL & GLOBAL CHANGEMAKERS
LCIS offers a variety of activities that get students out in the community and builds their social awareness.
We provide our students with learning objectives that build responsibility for their own work and progress as well as a sense of social responsibility. Both in Primary and Secondary school, our students research, plan, and manage student-led service projects which connect them with their local community as well as the larger world around them.
Through our house system, students build personal, social, and entrepreneurial skills, and organise service projects in the community. Through Student Council, they reflect on and actively shape the school’s ethos and direction, contributing to a positive culture and environment.
Our Social Impact Programme with UNICEF challenges our students to think about what they can do to make a difference. Following the UN Sustainable Development 2030 agenda, every year our students are invited to work on a Global Challenge, with themes as wide-ranging as clean energy and peace and justice, to come up with innovative solutions to some of the world’s biggest problems.
Students in Years 10-12 can apply to go to the Global Summit in New York, potentially to speak at the UN’s High Level Political Forum.
