Private Music Classes

Creative World Dance

French Drama Club
French Drama introduces your child to texts, trades and places of the French theatre, allowing them to try their hand at a practice that involves the body and the senses.
Choir (Primary and Secondary)
Singing performance enhances self-confidence, self-esteem and the ability to present one's self – an important life skill. The Choir explores basic vocal techniques, and the repertoire is selected from a range of different traditions.
School Musical

Broadway Theatre
Broadway Musical Theatre allows children to immerse themselves in Drama, games, singing and movement - fun and performance rolled into one!

Homework Club
Supervised homework ensures that students have dedicated time to complete school assignments and tasks, taking a proactive step of getting homework done and preparing for upcoming projects.
Languages and DELF exam preparation
Mandarin, Spanish, German,, French Boosters and DELF Exam preparation, our language clubs offer students the chance to enhance their language skills through spoken and written means to make the acquisition and exposure fun and interesting.
Mad Science
Have you ever made lightning? Captured a rainbow in a jar? Seen a volcano explode?! Have you made your own slime or written in invisible ink? Through exciting experiments, students will discover, explore and learn the wonders of science!
Book Club
Discussions, drama and guided reading linked to a particular book will allow your child to delve deeper into books and higher order thinking. The club develops literacy skills,and most importantly cultivates a love of reading.
LCIS Maths Team
Activities in Math Circles focus on solving problems and learning techniques that can be used in mathematics competitions at the national and international levels.
Chemistry Clinic
Students who attend Chemistry Clinic can consolidate their knowledge of Chemistry for IGCSE and IBDP. This is a place for students to work on homework, fill in knowledge gaps, and increase their understanding.
Model United Nations
Model United Nations is an educational simulation and academic competition in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. As well as developing public speaking skills, students learn about global issues.
We are committed to promoting creativity and design thinking, both during school time, and through a wide variety of creative clubs ranging from building, magic, cooking, and Design & Technology.
Arts and Crafts
The arts and crafts club fosters creativity, imagination and teamwork. Children experiment with various art materials and techniques in a personalised, open, and exploratory environment.
Design Technology Workshop
Our DT enthusiasts can join a supervised open workshop where they can complete projects they’ve been working on during class.
Sustainability Club
Students with a passion for sustainability have the opportunity to develop and realise their own sustainability initiatives.
Big Chef Cooking
Our very own Chef Robert introduces students to the art of cooking in a fun, innovative way. With years of experience, he offers a creative, interactive cooking class that teaches, inspires, and introduces curious minds to a whole new world.
Makey Makey
With Makey Makey's kit, everyday objects are turned into touchpads, enabling students to interact with computers as creative tools. Computers become an extension of their creativity, encouraging imaginative play and discovery.
Magic Club
The most famous magic school in Europe, "The Two Dragons Magic School", has partnered with us to teach our young children some impressive magic tricks.
Big Builders
The Big Builders program incorporates tactile, motor, and spatial skills while introducing science and engineering principles using K’nex® building blocks.

Ski days and camps
At LCIS, we take full advantage of our beautiful mountain surroundings—visiting local mountain resorts throughout the year. Skiing is, of course, an integral part of the academic calendar! On day trips and excursions, students learn the basics of skiing, improve their skills with expert instructors, and develop a love for the sport in spectacular snowy surroundings.
Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award
Students can work towards their Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award by hiking the incredible Jura Mountains and Swiss Alps. The Duke of Edinburgh International Award helps a student’s university application stand out from the crowd. At LCIS, your child can work towards their Award with exhilarating hikes through the many beautiful landscapes right at our doorstep.

FOSTERING LOCAL & GLOBAL CHANGEMAKERS
LCIS offers a variety of activities that get students out in the community and builds their social awareness.
We provide our students with learning objectives that build responsibility for their own work and progress as well as a sense of social responsibility. Both in Primary and Secondary school, our students research, plan, and manage student-led service projects which connect them with their local community as well as the larger world around them.
Through our house system, students build personal, social, and entrepreneurial skills, and organise service projects in the community. Through Student Council, they reflect on and actively shape the school’s ethos and direction, contributing to a positive culture and environment.
Our Social Impact Programme with UNICEF challenges our students to think about what they can do to make a difference. Following the UN Sustainable Development 2030 agenda, every year our students are invited to work on a Global Challenge, with themes as wide-ranging as clean energy and peace and justice, to come up with innovative solutions to some of the world’s biggest problems.
Students in Years 10-12 can apply to go to the Global Summit in New York, potentially to speak at the UN’s High Level Political Forum.
