THE INTERNATIONAL BTEC DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS
The International BTEC Diploma in Business gives students the chance to learn by doing. Your child won’t just study business theory; they’ll apply it to real-world projects in marketing, logistics, and entrepreneurship, gaining the confidence and skills they’ll carry into university or the workplace.
At Level 3, the BTEC is equivalent to two A-levels and opens doors to university, polytechnics, or a direct career path. At Level 2, it’s the ideal first step for students starting their business journey, with the option to progress to Level 3 or transition into work. For added flexibility, students can even combine the BTEC with IB subjects.
Alongside their BTEC, students further develop transferable skills which include Digital Skills (ICDL), Presentation and Performing Arts Skills (LAMDA), PE, and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS).
With a focus on teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, the BTEC equips your child with the practical skills and mindset to thrive beyond school. Combined with IB courses, it offers a balanced route to future success.

OUR STATS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES
CLASS OF 2025 ACADEMIC SUCCESS
BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
At Dover Court, your child’s education is enriched with experiences that build confidence, resilience, and a love of adventure. From diving among coral reefs and restoring mangroves in Tioman to paddling over 120km along the River Kwai as part of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award, these experiences challenge them to discover new strengths, embrace teamwork, and connect with the wider world.
Complementing this is a rich programme of co-curricular activities, where students pursue passions in the arts, sports, and innovation. Leadership opportunities encourage them to step up, share ideas, and make a positive impact. Your child will develop not only the skills to succeed academically but also the confidence, compassion, and courage to thrive in life.
