Our IBDP results in 2026

Our Class of 2026 has once again outperformed all global averages, placing them amongst the top students in the world. As our largest cohort to date, we congratulate our 120+ graduates on this outstanding achievement, only made possible by their dedication and the support of their families and teachers.

This year, our students achieved an impressive 36.5 points, significantly higher than the global average of 30.9. Nearly 1 in 3 students achieved a score of 40 or higher, positioning them for the world’s leading universities. One student achieved a perfect score of 45/45, making her the 20th BIS HCMC graduate to achieve a perfect score in 20 years of BIS HCMC IBDP history.

We are also proud to announce that the number of students attaining bilingual diplomas almost doubled this year, with 24.8% of students achieving the rigorous IB Diploma in both English and their home language, reflecting incredible linguistic ability and our commitment to nurturing home languages alongside English.

Our IGCSE results in 2025

This incredible cohort of 155 students, our largest IGCSE class in the history of the school, have significantly surpassed UK GCSE averages and were awarded 97% of all grades at A*-C. An incredible 69% of all grades awarded were at A*-A.

This remarkable group of students worked incredibly hard through their two-year IGCSE programme, and their dedication, commitment to study and attitude to learning certainly paid off with 97% of students achieving 5 or more A*-C grades across all subjects, including English and Maths. An impressive 39 students achieved straight A*-A grades in all their subjects demonstrating their incredible breadth of knowledge and skill across a diverse set of subject areas.

These results now provide our students with the best possible foundation as begin their first year of the rigorous International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), building on their knowledge and skills gained during their IGCSE years.

With such fantastic mathematicians here at BIS HCMC, 43 Year 10 (Grade 9), students were entered into their IGCSE Extended Mathematics one year early with an outstanding 100% achieving A*/A.

Our primary results in 2024

Our Key Stage 2 results, from GL Assessments for English and Maths taken at the end of Year 6, are once again very strong and well above the average score of 100 for UK primary schools.

Our consistently high results reflect both the high-quality teaching and learning offered at BIS HCMC. They also evidence the strong partnership between students, teachers, and parents.
