The Thai Department wants our St Andrews International School Bangkok community to appreciate the special significance that water holds in Thai society and enjoy our traditional celebrations of the water through our annual Loy Krathong assemblies, Krathong making, and Loy Krathong activities.

We celebrated Scottish heritage and culture as the Lions, Leopards and Tigers demonstrated immense physical skills during the Annual Highland Games. The STARs holiday camp was a shining success as students got well-deserved fun and games for hard work at school.

This week I am taking part in a CIS/NEASC/IB Virtual Evaluation Visit to Victoria Shanghai Academy, Hong Kong.

It was great to see two (physically distanced) packed houses for last week’s performances of Aladdin.

After some discussions as within the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and after meeting with the PTG, we have now finalised a plan to go ahead with our International Day with a slightly revised format to ensure more distancing and manage the numbers of people in the Sports Hall for the buffet.

Fantastic (I)GCSE and IB Diploma Programme results for last year’s Year 11 and 13 students, as well as an introduction to our new teachers/LSAs.

On Saturday, 13th June, the STA Model UN secretariat hosted the very first virtual St Andrews International Bangkok School Model United Nations (Virtual STAMUN).​​​​​​​

Remaining ECAs for Term 2 will be cancelled...Year 5 launched rockets and explored space...The lack of an audience couldn’t stop the music from the Year 4 Music Concerts...We advise on online learning in the event of school closure.
