Sixth Form Centre Weekly Update 14 Sep 2026 - Sixth Form Centre Weekly Update 14 Sep 2026

Dear all,

Thank you to all the parents who were able to join us at the Campus Launch Celebration on Thursday 10th September. It was a pleasure to welcome so many members of our community to the new Sixth Form Centre.

The evening provided a wonderful opportunity for parents and staff to connect and continue to build the close partnerships that are so important to student success. Open communication and collaboration between home and school are at the heart of a thriving Sixth Form and it was a valuable opportunity to reconnect at this important stage of our students’ educational journey.

Student Awards & Achievements

Many congratulations to Ruskin in Year 12 who won the “Future CEO of the Year” award for his “Nano Guardian AI” proposal at the Hang Send New Gen CEO Incubation Program. His winning proposal was an AI-powered medical nanorobot system that circulates through the bloodstream to monitor health and detect diseases as early as possible. He showed great innovation and creativity throughout the project and we are very proud of his achievements.

Many congratulations to Noah and Morgan in Year 13 who have both been selected to represent Hong Kong, China in the U20 Rugby World Challenger Cup in Santiago, Chile. They will initially play group matches against Brazil, Chile and Romania. We are very proud of both students and wish them the very best of luck in the competition.

Higher Education Curriculum

It has been another dynamic week for our Higher Education Curriculum as we continue to support our students in exploring global opportunities. Over the past week, students engaged with admissions representatives from Singapore Management University, the University of Western Australia, and IE University in Spain. In addition, our Year 12 students attended a seminar on the UK education system led by Mr Roscoe, while Mr Chang led a practical session on crafting effective US College Essays for our Year 13 students. Looking ahead to this week, we look forward to welcoming university representatives from leading universities in the UK, Canada, and Hong Kong.
