Thank you to all who have dropped off any outgrown uniform as the school year winds down.

From our Social Impact Media team, here’s a round-up of all things Service-learning and Social Impact from this year.

Last week was BISB’s House Week 3 and there were a variety of inter-house competitions that students could participate in including sports such as basketball, kick rounders and a scavenger hunt. Overall, there were many students involved in the House Week, especially the Haribo Hunt.

Our Early Year's students in the Blue and Green Group had a wonderful trip to Normafa on Wednesday.

Four BISB students managed to climb the height of Africa’s tallest mountain on Saturday morning last week to raise money for Kiwawa Secondary School in Tanzania.

Music lessons have all sorts of benefits for the brain. From increased neural blood flow to increased brain plasticity and gaining the ability to multitask.

During the last couple of weeks, Year 1 classes have been working on building a sensory and vegetable garden.

Last Thursday, members of Roots and Shoots went foraging in Kiscelli woods for some elderflowers to make cordial.

In just under 10 days, a group of valiant BISB students will attempt a sponsored climb to the equivalent height of Africa’s highest mountain (5,895m).
