Global Campus have launched a Visual Arts Competition along the theme of Climate and Environment; Education; Wellbeing; and/or Vaccinations.
Art and Design has always had the power to challenge perceptions, provoke new ideas and grab peoples’ attention. The Global Campus Visual Arts Competition provides the perfect opportunity for our students to raise their voice and get noticed.
The competition is also an exciting chance for students to have their ideas heard and artwork seen around the world, by exhibiting at a UNICEF high level Political Forum in July 2022.
Students who are not confident with a pencil or drawing are still encouraged to enter - there are many art medias and techniques they can use to express ideas and convey meaning, such as a camera, digital software (like procreate or Photoshop), or making something three-dimensional, a sculpture out of re-cycled items, or even through textiles… an applique banner or crochets drawing.
All student artwork submissions can be entered as evidence for the BISAD Diploma ‘Arts’ Category for a ‘Bronze Award,’ and will receive 5 House Points. Shortlisted students will be exhibited in a School Photo Gallery and will receive a ‘Silver’, or even ‘Gold’ Award if they go on to represent the school in this epic Global Competition.
